How the closed loop works
Every Hive receipt carries two signatures — Ed25519 for today and
ML-DSA-65 (NIST FIPS 204) for the quantum-tomorrow.
Tax Sorter creates them. Verifier confirms them. The Hive mesh anchors them.

Is it free? Yes. Tax Sorter and Verifier are both free on the Chrome Web Store. No signup, no card, no ads.
Do you read my Gmail? No. Tax Sorter v0.1 only handles what you paste or upload. Gmail auto-import is opt-in in v0.2 after Google CASA review.
What is post-quantum cryptography? ML-DSA-65 (NIST FIPS 204) is a lattice-based signature scheme designed to remain secure against quantum computers. Your audit trail today still holds when quantum machines arrive.
Can my CPA verify without installing anything? Yes — the web verifier works in any browser. The extension is faster for repeat use.
Where is my data? In your browser. Hive's signing service touches the signature payload, never your full receipt content. v0.1 stores nothing server-side.
What if I get audited? Export the CSV plus the signed envelopes. Each receipt is independently verifiable by the IRS, your CPA, or any third party using the public verify endpoint.
