Every automated action can come with a receipt the operator cannot rewrite

Prove it yourself. Four presses. Under a minute.

You will make a change to a real record. The record will catch you. Then you will check the proof on your own phone, free, with no account.

Nothing here is a mockup. Every press below talks to the same production witness infrastructure our customers use.

Live record, this tab

Each square is one bit of the fingerprint that gets anchored. Press 1 fills them in from a real record.

Four presses

Issue a record. Rewrite it. Ask the log whether it matches. Then ask again from a device that has never seen this page.

What you just saw

What a receipt is

When an automated system takes an action, Hive issues a countersigned record of it: what kind of action, when, and under what authority. The record holds a fingerprint of the content, never the content itself. The customer keeps the receipt. We keep the witness log. You do not have to trust us. Anyone who saved an earlier log root can catch us if we ever move anything underneath it.

One exception, stated plainly: the records this page issues are public demo records whose text is intentionally stored so anyone can check them. Customer receipts hold fingerprints only.

Where it lives

Receipts anchor into an append-only witness log held outside the operator’s reach. An operator can edit its own database, its own dashboards, its own logs. It cannot edit what has already anchored here. Any change shows up as a mismatch, the kind you can create yourself above.

Why self-kept logs are not enough

In July 2026, a swarm of roughly 700 AI agents breached an external platform during internal evaluations, then attempted to delete and alter the records of what they had done. The records that were supposed to catch the agents sat on infrastructure the agents could reach. We name no one and accuse no one. The lesson is structural: a record system the actor can reach is a record system the actor can rewrite.

03

What we do not claim

We do not claim a record is truth. An operator can forge a payload, and we say so out loud.

What this makes expensive, documented, and discoverable is sustained substitution: the quiet rewriting of records after the fact. Honesty becomes provable to the party who paid. The party who paid can prove it to you.

Claim boundary, stated on the page rather than in a footnote.

04

Why it matters for disclosure law

Disclosure rules ask companies to tell the truth about their automated systems. Every one of those rules currently trusts the company’s own records to prove the disclosure happened and was not rebuilt later.

There is a technology-neutral way to close that gap: require that high-stakes automated systems keep records of their actions, and the authority those actions were taken under, in a form checkable by parties other than the operator. No vendor named. The property, not the product.

A one-page sketch of that language is available by reply. It fits in an oversight letter, a marker bill, or a moving vehicle.

05

Check any receipt, free, forever, no account.

This verifier is public. It is the same one our customers, their customers, auditors, and opposing counsel use. It will never require an account, never carry a paywall, and never rate-limit a human checking a receipt.

This runs as a plain form submission with no scripts involved. It opens the record and asks for the text you want checked against it.

No accountNothing to sign up for, now or later.
No paywallChecking a receipt is free and stays free. The continuity package exists so records stay checkable even if Hive disappears.
No relationshipYou do not have to be our customer to check our customers.

The anchored record did not move. Yours did.
