No. The proof step is sub-millisecond on our signer. The models still take the time models take, and the proof rides on top of that at near-zero cost.
What does Carnac actually do?
It reads each prompt and decides how much proof that request needs, then records which route applied: routine, review, hold, or abstain. It does not form opinions. It determines the required proof and records the provenance.
Who decides the threshold?
You do. Hive meters the proof and records whose threshold applied. We never decide your threshold and we never gate your content.
