Built for what ICE announced this year

Seven moves ICE made in 2026, and the record that already runs under each.

Each item starts with ICE's own words and a link to the source. Under it is working Hive code you can run right here, on fictional records, in about a second.

Start with ICE data in AI assistants

1 · ICE data inside AI assistants

"A complete audit trail so that every output can be traced and trusted."

ICE, describing its MCP data channel in the July 30, 2026 investor presentation. The July 29 release adds that "users should pay for the value of the data delivered, rather than the volume of compute consumed."

What runs today

One question to ICE data through an assistant, followed through five records: whether this licensed user may see it, whether the blended answer may leave the firm, which words are ICE values and which are the assistant's own, how many evaluations were delivered (a retry counts once), and where the answer sits in an append-only log. If a value is corrected later, the answers that used it are flagged.

New: each connector call, recorded through a real gateway and sealed against the licensed set. See the MCP connector run

2 · Round-the-clock trading of U.S. stocks

Each digital share "backed by an underlying share," trading around the clock.

OKXICE, the joint venture of OKX and ICE, filed with the SEC on October 5 for more than 60 U.S. stocks (Fortune, Reuters). Separately, NYSE's digital trading platform will rely on digital transfer agents that maintain "official records of ownership" (NYSE and Securitize, March 24).

What runs today

A parity check through a weekend night. The venue signs how many digital shares are outstanding per symbol; the custodian signs how many shares it holds for them. Anyone can compare the two at matched times. At 04:00 one symbol runs ahead of custody and is caught. At 08:00 the custodian is silent, so the check says unknown rather than guessing.

3 · MarketAxess

ICE data to more than 2,100 institutional clients, many of whom "consume ICE data indirectly through third parties, or not at all."

ICE's July 30 agreement to acquire MarketAxess names evaluated pricing, reference data, index data, liquidity scoring, transaction cost analysis and predictive pricing for those clients (investor materials).

What runs today

When ICE data meets another platform's data in one view, each requested use resolves to allow, deny or unresolved from the declared sources, and rights never widen on their own. When a right changes, each listed client system shows applied, received or silent. Two companies joining also means many team handoffs, each one accepted or returned on its own.

4 · AI agents in mortgage servicing

Voice and chat agents on MSP, and 16 exception agents that act on "predefined business rules."

Announced at ICE Experience on March 17, built on the ICE Aurora framework.

What runs today

When an agent updates a loan, the record names the exact rule version and source versions it read. If the rule changed first, consistency fails. If a newer borrower record was already in effect, freshness fails. If a source sent no progress checkpoint, the answer is unknown. Handoffs to a person are recorded as accepted or returned.

5 · Prediction market data

Polymarket data, normalized and structured "for professional and institutional investors."

Polymarket Signals and Sentiment, February 11, distributed under ICE's global distribution rights.

What runs today

Probabilities move and outcomes are sometimes revised. When a published value is corrected, the record shows which answers, calculations and recipients used the earlier one, who has acknowledged the correction, and keeps the original exactly as it was. An earlier acknowledgement never carries over to the new value.

P07, with P04 for snapshot freshness

6 · Treasury and repo clearing

"The first ever alternative venue for clearing U.S. Treasury securities," with repo clearing planned for the fourth quarter.

ICE Clear Credit, February 3, offering both done-away and done-with models.

What runs today

In a done-away trade, one firm executes and another clears. An append-only log with inclusion and consistency proofs lets each side show its record was there at a given size and that history only grew. A witness cosigns each checkpoint, and two versions of the same history are caught at once.

P09, with P15 for the handoff between firms

7 · Benchmarks

New ICE Swap Rate inflation benchmarks in GBP and EUR.

ICE Benchmark Administration, June 5.

What runs today

Benchmark records are kept for years, longer than any one signing key. A renewal seals the retained original and its historical trust list with both Ed25519 and ML-DSA-65, the NIST post-quantum signature. Both must verify, and editing the original after renewal still fails.

What this is, and what it is not

Every run uses fictional records and keys held by Hive, in the same code your team can download and run offline. Hive never decides, blocks or sits in the path, and holds no ICE data. A record shows what existed, when, and that it didn't change. It does not show that a rule, a price or a model was right. Nothing here is connected to ICE, and the mappings are our reading of public announcements.
